The problem we have as Christians is when God say’s jump, we’re quick to question a lot:
1:We wanna know why he has asked us to jump
2: We wanna ask “for how long” before we even begin the jump.
3:We’re quick to ask why “Sam & Samantha” from next door look like they don’t jump, we wanna ask why it “looks” like all they do is sit.
4: We wanna ask why he can’t lift us up instead so we don’t need to jump.
What i’m trying to say is, we as Christians are quick to question God’s word, quick to ask When, How, Who, or Why instead of just trusting God and doing as he say’s.
-And when God says “Be Patient” {James 5:8} we’re quick to ask “for how long”. We’re quick to get discouraged because “Sam & Samantha” look like they didn’t have to wait for their lives to fall into place. We’re quick to say “But I can’t” when God says we can {Luke 1:37}. Quick to say “it’s hard” when we have the power of the Holy Spirit within us {1 Corinthians 3:16}.
-And when God reminds us not to do something {Exodus 20:2 — 17} we’re quick to look at other people and compare, but what most of us don’t know is that God is changing each and everyone of us in different way’s { 2 Corinthians 5:17}. “Sam” probably looks like he has his life together but is fighting a life threatening disease; he is patient in his own way’s. What we don’t know is that “Samantha” may look worthy on social media and may be praised by millions but can’t be saved and is living her last breath on this earth alone. What you may not know is that God is preparing you so you can have a good life both on this earth and in the afterlife.
All he asked was for you to do as he say’s.
God knows the past, the present and the future, he knows what’s best for you {Jeremiah 29:11}.
Do as he say’s and ask the questions along the way {Isaiah 43:26}.
Be quick to trust him and less to question him {Proverb’s 3:5–6}.
