It’s hard to let go off bad behavior especially when it only affect’s you and no one else.
We might think that just because no one else is being affected by it, then it’s doing no harm; when in fact, YOU are being affected, so it is causing harm.
Think of something negative you casually do, or do from time to time, no matter how small.
E.g could be negative self talk: focusing on negative thought’s about oneself.
Consequences: Limited thinking, depression, relationship challenge’s.
E.g Comparing yourself to other people.
•You begin to underestimate your own capabilities.
•You refrain from trying out certain thing’s because you think other people are already doing better than you are.
•You may become incapable of seeing worth in your own life.
You are important.
You are seen.
You are heard.
You are loved.
You are cared for.
It starts within you, and you can only truly believe it when you give yourself the same love and care.
